Question what does 'tow mode' mean for me?

i have a xe pref. cc 2 wheel package with the 'tow mode' button on the lower buttons.

i bought mine used so i have no info.

what does this mean or allow my truck to do when the button is pressed?

From what I understand your truck will stay in the lower gears longer when accelerating to compensate for the pulling. And shift down quicker to accelerate once moving down the road.

Whatever you do just DON'T PUSH THE RED BUTTON!!!

JK, the link that gftitan04 found describes it very well. Bottom line is not much. Changes some of the shift points a little that's all. It isn't anything exciting!!

I think you are one of the first people I've heard on here who bought a pre-owned Titan. Tell us about it. Did you get it for significantly less than buying a new one. Just curious.

i bought my titan used this past week, i think i paid a excellent price.
Smoke 04 KC. Has about 23k miles on it. Paid 15850 @ auto auction.

i paid 21.5 out the door. it was pristine condition with 3,300 miles. like i said previously...can anyone say JESUS HOOKUP!!!! yeeeeha!
