First trip to the Depot...

Wife and I went to Home Depot the other day to get a few supplies for the house. I bought 8 rolls of insulation, a 8' sheet of drywall (had it cut in half to fit in bed), and a bunch of new seals for the exterior doors to the house.

Pulled the real "Big Rig" up to the door to load it and saw a red '05 LE 4X4 parked a few yards in front of mine. I saw a guy walking away from it so I assumed it was his and said, "nice truck". He said, "yeah, I love these Titans! I was just checking out that red one, then I saw yours...and was like, WOW!" After looking like a conceded mo fo, I apologised and told him, I though that the red truck was his. He laughed and said, "God, I wish! Love yours though!"

Never owed a car that people complent me on.

When I go to Home Depot or Lowe's I usually try to park in a parking place next to another Titan. Often times I meet up with the guy when I come out of the store and we will chat for a while and then I will invite him to visit Titan Talk. After that I usually give the guy a burned copy of the ******* ****** that I keep several of on hand in the center console. In Louisiana we call such acts "lagniappe".

I think Titan owners that I meet are nicest folks.

Haha, last Spring I was down at the boathouse loading some oars into my Chevy about 3 months after I got it. My coach was leaning on the bedrail reading something and one of the other rower's parents said "Nice truck" as he walked by. My coach was just like, "Thanks."

Another time I came back to it after school and found one of my school's soccer coaches leaning on the bedrail. Just started it up and he moved away.

/Needs to get the chrome that shiny again.
