Speedometer Stuck on 10 at dead stop

I've been dealing with a fuel gauge that works sometimes and is pegged on full at others. Today, however, takes the cake. The speedometer is on 10 when I'm at a dead stop. It still moves up when I accelerate, so I'm just subtracting 10 from whatever speed I'm showing to see how fast I'm going, but this absolutely sucks. I'll be taking it in to the dealer some time this week and will let you know what happens.

Anyone else had this problem?

Some speedos do not always go to 0 when you turn off your engine. I would bet your speedo is correct within the margin of accuracy of the speedo.

Update - After I posted, I checked again and she had dropped down to about 8. By the next morning, she rested at 0 and has been fine now for 3 days. Go figure!
