It's hard to argue with statistical evidence. Many, many studies have shown you are more likely to escape serious injury or death wearing a seat belt than not. Does that mean that there are never circumstances where you would have a better chance of surviving injury or death without one... of course not. Me, I take the odds and always wear one. Not only that, anyone who rides in my truck wears one too, otherwise they ride with someone else or walk. My 2 cents worth!

I know some people argue seat belts don't save lives and what not...

Accidents are highly unpredictable and the way we get involved in them is random. Of course you would die if you get hit on the side, crash in 80+mph, run over by a semi, etc.

Seat belts are used to insure the extra protection to the person by actually attaching him or her to the body of the car. When you're part of the inertia of the car, you won't go flying out through the window and using your head as the hammer. Simple physics and common sense.

I really hate people not wearing seat belts. The spillover effects it has is tremendous. 2 seconds of your life putting on your seat belt can save everyone a lot of headache down the road.

PLEASE WEAR A SEAT BELT

i wear my seatbelt on the highway always. i usually don't when going to the corner drug store. it's all personal choice i guess.
