I was reading in the latest "Off Road Magazine" from 4-Wheel Parts (which BTW had the "No Fear" Titan on the cover) that dealerships will start selling a limited edition "No Fear" Titan with "335 Horsepower" among other modifications. Anybody know what mods they are putting on these Titans to make the 335?

... but there was no information on what was powering the 30HP upgrade, so I thought I would relaunch the question since better than 10 days had lapsed since the last post. Alas, aside from speculation, no one has the information yet, but atleast now when someone does know, there will be two thread possibilities for posting information. God Forbid there will be two threads about this now.

hey stupid!!! j/k i think the no fear edition is, hold on, let me get that issue....................ooooooo, i forgot nothing is mentioned in reference to the power gains, or at least what it was they did to achieve the additional 30 horses, stupid me!!! anyways as MaxPowers mentioned i'm 99% sure it is the combination of exhaust and intake mods dyno numbers or at least claimed numbers... i love the grill on it, i want it!!!!
i think its a cool looking truck, but still its like paying someone to write your girl a love note...its not the same as doing your own upgrades...anyone else agree?
i'll second that, it just doesn't feel the same as working to put something together. i'll go a little further and say that it is like going to a hobby shop and having the option to buy a model that you must put together or buying the same model but already assembled and painted up. just not the same joy of actually doing it yourself... at least that's how i feel...
I agree with you both... I took mine into the dealer a few weeks ago for the brake "judder" (a little semantics humor from that one thread) and while they worked on it I walked the lot and saw three perfectly identical Titans with a Daystar levelling kit, aftermarket wheels and 33" Pro-Comp M/Ts. Yeah, they were cool and all, but come on, all you do is pay an inflated price for mods you have no choice in and that two other people or more conceivably have. Also, I asked the guys at the 4-Wheel Parts that did the upgrades for the dealership how much it cost to do it parts and all and then compared it with the price, and the dealerships showed quite a mark-up. I'm not disagreeing with the mark-up, they have to make some money on it obviously, but why pay for that when you can just buy a "normal" Titan and take it the 4-Wheel Parts on your own and have them do what YOU want for less?
I thought the small clip from the mag was enough. I thought it was clear that the increase was due to the intake and exhaust. Sorry. The comment I made was a byproduct from getting too abbresive with a poster who told a new member about a previous thread and scolded him for not doing a search first. I got a little upset. Now I am a little over polite when it comes to saying there is another thread.

If we apply the HEMI badge we might also get another 40HP on top of that...
lol
