WHICH TOUCH-UP PAINT DO YOU GUYS PREFER FOR PAINT CHIPS?
LITTLE BOTTLE WITH BRUSH OR DUAL TIP PAINT PEN. IT TOOK MY LITTLE
ONES A WHOLE 2 WEEKS FOR FIRDT DING.
I've never been able to get a real smooth look with the brush, but it seems to fill deeper scratches better. If it's somewhere that you can lightly blend with some high-grit wet & dry sandpaper without it being too noticeable (say on a rear quarter panel rather than the hood) the brush would probably work OK.
FYI, there is also a chip 'crayon' made by turtle wax that is coupled with a colored polish that actually hides stuff pretty good. This is not a fix but it can help disguise some bad scratches or chips. Biggest problem with it is that it doesn't shine real good so it's hard to use and be completely invisible on flat surfaces that catch the light real well like the hood.
