Is that brushed silver I see in the LE?

While wondering through a few lots yesterday, all trucks locked so I could not get in, it appears the horizontal plastic around the shifter and vertical plastic around the radio and HVAC controls is like a brushed silver/aluminum. Was I seeing things?

I have seen no mention of that LE upgrade in the brochure but then again I have not really read the LE part in much detail because I'm going the SE route, but I am curious.

Thx!

I know the radio faceplate was changed from 04-05 to that silver-ish looking piece. Dunno about the shifter.

Hey TriK, if you know the radio faceplate was changed then I have my answer. I could tell looking though the windows the faceplate was the same color/finish as around the shifter. This was a nice little change, I like the look with the darker graphite interior.

Yeah, I think it looks pretty good. Nothing I would trade in my 04 for.

There's a buncha little extra things they put on the '05 LE that weren't on the '04s: silver accented trim on dash, std power rear window, std tow hooks, back-up sonar.

I think the sonar was enough to make me wait! I don't know how the heck I'd back this thing up without it!

I got mine 04 Feb with the LE. Didn't get the sonar, dvd, navy and grille.

I will change the trim around the dash this weekend. Its my new project.

So is it possible to upgrade the dash of an '05 SE to the brushed alumnimum accents" they provide on the LE? I am plannign on buying a new TITAN this week and have not decided on which one to get. The main reason I was planning on the SE was to avoid teh RF system.

I think its only on the radio and HVAC controls. Nothing new around the shifter...I think.

VShortt, it is an absolute definite on the center console, that was the only part I saw real clear; you see we had this freakish weather phenomena this past weekend; the sun actually came out. It was the vertical center around the HVAC controls I could not see due to the casted shadow.

Yo Dallas, that is one nice looking interior! Your shot is perfect; because that is the part I could see the least. That is a very nice LE upgrade; I like how the silver stands out from the lighter grey around the 4WD switch and such.

Theres nothing wrong with the RF radio. The sound is great and no radio fade issues as there was earlier on. You'd give up the leather seats too? It's one of the reasons I bought the LE. Since you can buy enough packages in an SE to be more expensive than an LE, it makes more financial sense to buy the LE. Take the brochure with the standard features listed side by side and you'll see what you're getting.

Thats cool. Sorry for the misguided info. Nissan has updated their website and has added many pictures of the '05's including the new Texas Titan without all of the goofy red, white, and blue decals all over it.
