Thats killer, Ive been in the same boat. The wife doesn't think it's a priority right now. Im trying to figure out how to sneak one past her without her seeing the bill show up. Bad thing about sharing an account with wifey.

I used to build custom cabinets for a living. Now I design and engineer them but I still fabricate on the side. My answer to your dilemma....SIDE WORK!!

Hey Velope. Under your avatar it says that you are from Corpus Christ. I assume you mean Corpus Christi in which case, if you would ever like to hook up and meet that would be cool. I find myself there every few months because I have family there. Let me know if you would care to hook up some time.
Sorry to jack your thread Havock. I'm only ignoring you out of shear jealousy.

Yeah, I was on the side work route until tonight. I do computer support for a small company after hours every now and then, so I was going to pocket a little of that and save up for the kit. Sux, but at least you know you can get there eventually.
Now, I have to save up for:
1. Completing my custom exhaust (if I can get ahold of my weldin' buddy)
2. For 2" blocks and longer shocks for the rear
3. Bigger tires for either my 17" OR or 18" LE wheels. Probably the 18's since they are wider and looked sweet with 35"s on NewOrleansMike's truck.

That cool. As an FYI, I would like to be part of your garage fiesta. In fact, I would gladly donate mine if everyone wanted to come here. That would be cool with me. As you can see in the pics, its set up for fun but the work would have to be done on the driveway because of the limited space due to the table saw.

Hehe! Nice disco ball! Oh, and did you say you build cabinetry on the side? Looks like you had a lot of fun in your garage! Holy cow man, that is a lot of storage space!
back on topic: your garage, Moto-Max's garage, anywhere but mine (too messy) I dream of the day when I can pull a vehicle into the garage and work on it.

I'm easy. You name the day. I know Moto Max would come out because he lives somewhere nearby in Katy. If you would like to do it this weekend let me know. Sunday would be better for me and that way you could have your truck done before the meet. If this is good with you, I will PM Moto Max and see if he would like to come out as well. I have never met him, but he seems like a good guy. Also, I have plenty of tools but nothing for specialty tools for automotive use. I'm told that you don't need anything spectacular to do this job but hopefully you know more than I do about it. Let me know man.

I PM'ed PRG tonight with a question before I order (I am one of the odd-ball 4x2 with Off-Road people). I am sure I will hear back from him and I will get the order rolling tomorrow, but I have no idea when I will get it in my hands. I should know more after I talk to Greg.
As for the technical know how, I will be depending on Greg and his installation instructions. I guess I should download and read them really quick to double check what we'll need.

Sounds good. I'm told that that there are no special tools needed. I have been over the installation instructions and all that is really necessary is an allignment soon after the work is complete. That's about it.
I'm in.. but I might have a little surprise for ya'll if interested.
I do work at a body shop on the west side of town ie lift, room to work etc
My garage is full of bikes and parts..
The only thing i lack is a pimp disco ball..!
