Very, very sad news. Chris was a very helpful and friendly fellow, and really made a difference here. Krishta, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I've spent a lot of time performing funeral details for soldiers who have passed on, and I wish I could be there to render final honors to Chief Petty Officer Christopher W. King. But given the circumstances, this will be the best I can do:
This Flag is presented on behalf of a grateful Nation, as a token of appreciation, for the honorable and faithful service rendered by your loved one.
TAPS
Day is done,
gone the sun,
from the lakes
from the hills
from the sky,
all is well,
safely, rest,
God is near.
Fading light,
Dims the sight,
And a star gems the sky
Gleaming bright,
From afar,
Drawing, near,
Falls the night.
Thanks and praise,
For our days,
Neath the sun
Neath the stars
Neath the sky,
As we go,
This, we, know,
God is near.

Oh man I don't really know what to say here as he was one of the titantalk members here who I knew a little more than just a few posts. I'd spoken to him by phone on several occasions and he even had purchased 2 warranties though us. He was always willing to help me and did on several occasions. We shared many different thoughts with each other on many occasions since I've been a member here. I'm rambling here, it's just sad to recall some of our exchanges here and on some phone conversations and now, he's gone. He was a great friend of titantalk, and a titantalk friend to many of it's members here. I know he will be missed. I was sad when he stepped down as a super mod, so this definitely makes me sad. My sincere condolences.
