Thumbs up Titan owners and "the wave"

I've had my Titan for 3 gret weeks now, and I noticed something while driving around...

It seems Titan owners are a social group for the most part. I was driving down a 2 lane road by my friend's house, and I see a red brawn Titan coming in the opposite direction, and he gave a firendly wave as I passed. That made my day.
Corvette owners are like that, greeting each other as they pass, but other than TX ( where it seems everyone waves to ya ), I never see people waving hi as you drive...
Call it being wrapped up in our own little worlds, or just too darn busy to notice, we seem to forget to be friend;y to our neighbors, even when we share something like owning the same vehicle.

Next time you see a fellow Titan owner... give 'em a wave.

When I'm back in Mississippi, people are almost always friendly and wave in this situation. However, down here in Louisiana, people don't seem to give a $hit.

Here in So. Cal...a$$hole land.... I haven't received a wave yet from a fellow Titan owner. They'll sometimes look over, but they don't wave back. I even gave a friendly horn beep at one that was making a left turn as I was passing, but no response.

However, let me just add that meeting Greg to get my PRG lift kit installed was a very pleasant experience. If we could have more people like him in this world, then this would definitely be a better place.

Don't even get me started on the SNOBS that drive Corvettes. When I used to drive my uncle's C4, I never EVER got a wave back from a C5 owner. In fact, I think I only received one or two waves from fellow C4 owners. C3 "Mako Shark" owners were like the C5 guys, no wave or acknowledgement. My uncle's Corvette is not a junky looking car either. It's actually very "distinctive" looking in a good way. Oh well...

Washington state sounds just like SoCal. All of the Titan owners I have met here in Yakima have been total jerks.
It seems strange because everyone on this site is so nice. Must be something in the water.

Owned mine for about 2 weeks. I passed by a Titan and I waved, he did not. I used to own a jeep (the real jeep) and all jeep owner wave at other jeeps. Except for the new jeeps, those people didn't seem to get it.

I saw one on the oncoming lane and I thought about waiving to him. I had my hand ready incase he waived. But that didn't happen, and also.. it turned out to be an armada. I've seen a good amount of Armadas that I thought were TItans until they drove past.

Same here with MIKETAN in so cal i get no wave response... For instance I was at the gas station the other day and a guy rolls up in a Silver KC and I was just getting done filling up (53 bucks geez) and I noticed that he looked over at the guage to see how much it was... As I saw him when I was putting the pump away I said expensive huh, but there great to drive... he just looked at me like I was crazy and looked away... I gave him a wave on my way out and he looked dumb founded that you would just say a friendly word to some one you dont know that seems to have a common interest... a$$hole...

Memphis area folks are pretty friendly... even had a guy go out of his way to turn around after seeing my truck, follow me home and talk for a good 20 minutes about mods and such (he had just gotten his). That wasn't a rare event either, it has happened on two other occasions. Every Titan owner seems to nod or wave as well, as if saying, "I see you are a conscientious consumer with great taste as well!"
