Remote Truck starters?

Hey,
I finally took delivery of my new Titan...So far, so good!!! I want to put a remote starter in and I've seen a few of you already have.
Can you provide some insight on what are the good ones and what should I look for in a remote starter?
Thanks

Try this link:
remote start... so confused!

You can find previously discussed stuff by keying in the topic you are looking for into the search box that is near the top of this page.

Thanks Bayou,
I was looking for some more in depth opinions on different starters...not on how to install them. I usually do a search first, but since I was looking for different info and the post was 4 months old, I figured I would start a new one.

Same here. I LOVE the range on the remotes. I can hit it from my desk all way out in the back row of the parking lot from here at work. (My office has over 7000 employees at work everyday...)

I have a viper 791 and I am real happy with it. Astro start also makes a good brand.

Why is your desk in the back row of the parking lot? I'd just fold down the passenger seat and use it as a desk and not get out of the Titan,

Jmo

I installed the Crimestopper unit that 1Badtitan had talk about awhile back. While it doesn't have the range that the others do I am still very please with MY work. When I researched pricing and features that I would really use it seemed this was the best option for me. I installed the 901 Crimestopper unit for $75 TOTAL. Everything else was $350 to $800. Hope that helps.

The range is great on these. Thry to relocat the antenna. Did you hook up the external antenna? Where did you put it.
