Above is what Iam looking at. I have done my research on here for past couple weeks and rdally think.i would enjoy this truck. Is it me or does this price seem a little high? And the 04 was the first year...is this sometging to stay away from??
Use of this truck is for travel. Iam a musician and carry alot of equip. The gas mpg sounds scary so that could be another con about this truck....not even taking in fact the larger tires that this is equipped with. Any opinions or constructive criticism. If i am going to male a bad purchase please stop me! Thanks all
former members truck? lol price is a little high but all in all talk them down a grand or get a extended warranty or something and make sure you personally check the usual stuff.. leaky rear axle seals, wet parts on front diff cvs, leaking manifolds, check the rad and make sure its nice clean looking.. all which you could use as negotiating tools with them. but id say... do it do it! lol. ya there a little hard on gas, but so what! you yourself wouldn't of even considered it to drive but as you can see, with a little work they really stand out in the crowd!. nice looking truck man. keep us posted.
Thanks much titanup!! Yes...is it a former members truck on here? Would love to know.....with the tonneau cover and all hwy can i hit 20mpg? I just couldnt afford say 12mpg highway ha.
Ill go in and low ball in the 10s.....maybe meet at 11500 if iam lucky.
I doubt it man, I got a 05 cc 4x4, and ya I got bad manifolds but there not horrible yet. but this winter, with winter blend I never seen better than 13.. I mean I do haul a little as* with it but don't beat it and I do say 70 highway 30 town and fields and stuff at home here back and forth to the river and such.. my father does have a 08 cc 4x4 and he steady sees 14s and that's all highway about 150 km a day.. little better on summer grade but not worth writing about really..
I literally see 10 of those daily lol. if you want one giver, cya in a year or so! lol. If you can afford a raptor tho.. that's a whole different ball game sir
18 is highway. And they always advertise the highest you're gonna get so unless you get a BDGT you arent gonna get over that. Anyway, as long as it was kept well it would be a good buy. Price is a little high. I mean I got my 06 King Cab LE with only 55k miles for $11.5k a year ago so I wouldnt pay 13k+tax for an older model with double the miles and a lower trim. However it is a 4wd so that adds value but I dont think it's 14.5k worth. Just my 2c
The raptor was right next to a white raptor....beautiful...30kmiles for 43k no thanks lol. What is BGDT? Is it ok to go in around 10k....or is that a huge insult? Worst that can happen is they say no right.
How are long trips w the titan....seems comfy?
Thank you by the way for all the responses. My other option was ram 1500.
bullydog tuner is what your refering too. does it come with one or are you lookin at it for better mileage? id say get ahold of uprev and forget bdgt lol. run from that dodge unless its got a cummings in it, then again that's a different story as well.
that's a sharp lookin truck man id say take it for a good long drive let it get heated up and if all good its your call man.. check the stuff I mentioned tho! you will only hear them under good acceleration and when the truck is still cold after it warms up they tend to quite down.. till your in Tims drive thru and the noise bounces back off the wall and sounds like shi* all in all you can offer them 5! what can they do laugh? haha theyll know your serious about not paying what they want, then start to barter, I bet you'll be surprised what they will come down to if your serious and want it then at that moment. I wouldn't be too worried about the truck itself but how much gear are you carrying? I have a Crew Cab and I can barely fit the whole PA setup inside the back, with stuff stacked to the ceiling, if it was threatening crazy rain or I had to worry about leaving the truck somewhere with the gear in it. In a King Cab you're going to fit your instrument and an amp and that's about it.
Jd....you dont happen to be from philly are you,,,,,anyways. I would have the extended bed w a locking tonneau cover. Nothing would be in the actual king cab with me except maybe a couple band members. The reason of me trading in an suv for a truck is so i can keep the gear out in a covered bed rather that of the interior of the suv.
