Mine was born in May, and had the judder problem. I just got it back from the dealer, they did the brake fix, new rotors. I hope this solves the problem.
OK, I'm not real sure what judder is but from what I gather the steering wheel would be vibrating very bad on applying brake pressure. I don't really get that, what I do get from time to time is when I apply the brakes it does pull to the right side enough to where I feel like I have to fight it to get it back pretty good, does this sound like the start of brake issues, I have almost 5K miles on the truck.

Had some warranty work done today to include change of my rear differential fluid at no charge -- dealer said as long as I had the BT there was no charge. While watching the tech service my diff, two racks were dedicated for install of the new brake kit. Service advisor told me they were getting 2-3 kits in per week and had worked through their backlog of about 30 disgruntled customers. I have 4100 miles and still no judder. Rear diff fluid initially came out in "globs" with only minor material on the drain plug. Had front diff level checked and it was OK.

Make sure your dealer actually replaces the font rotors and not just resurface them. I took my 05 in last week for the "brake fix" and he told me that my front rotors only needed to be turned and the new pad kit added. Yeah right.. Not at only 3500 miles. New rotors or I make some calls They did resurface the rears. Not to happy about that but I'll hang on to the receipt with the mileage so if the rear rotors need to be replaced earlier then they should. They'll be compliments of Nissan
They just don't know it yet I'm not sure if I got the improved rotors or not? Anyone have more problems after the fix?
I just verified from the pics of the new rotors on this site that I indeed have the brake fix done. I only have 600 miles and my brakes have been excellent so I was pretty sure I had the brake fix. I do get quite a bit of brake dust though. Mine was built in May.

Mine was built in May also, only I had the old rotors. I had large amounts of brake dust too, but since my brake update I have very little to no dust. I wonder if you have the new rotors with the old pads? Could be since your truck was built during the transition month.
The new front rotor has a 3/8" concave depression around where the braking surface joins the tophat (or hub) of the rotor casting. You can see it and feel it with a finger tip. Compare this with how the brake surface joins the tophat on the rear rotors - square cross-section on these.
Then there's the thickness of the braking surfaces, compensated for by a thinner vented or webbed area between them. There's an excellent photo of new and old side-by-side posted here, if you'd do a search on "front rotors". The new rotor's braking surfaces are thicker (375 mm) than the old (290 mm) if I remember the numbers correctly. If you have a micrometer, or even a decent metric ruler and want to take a wheel off, this'll probably give you the most definitive evidence.
Contrary to some posts, the new front rotors are the same overall size as the old. The big difference is the thicker braking surfaces. It's possible the cast iron might be a different blend, too. I've seen no hard info on this - just speculation.
I don't know to tell which version of pads you have. Those of us who've had the "final fix" (NTB 04-066c or later) report little if any dust on the wheels. My fix was just 2 weeks ago, so I can't really say for a while yet. You'd think the factory'd use the same pads the dealers do.
Hope this helps.
I see a concave ring where the rotor mounts to the hub and measure the thickness of the rotor to be 1.030" w/ a caliper, or 261mm (254mm/inch). I haven't had a problem yet (other than obnoxious brake dust all over my ride), just trying to have to visit my dealer as few times as possible

I was thinking that as well. I haven't had any problems but I haven't even broken 1000 miles yet.

Go to Nissan's site and get a one day viewing subscription for $20.00, then print the Brake Judder TSB .pdf file out and bring it to your Nissan service dept. I just read it and downloaded it myself.
It is dated August 29, 2005
TSB NTB04-066E
Step 1 says - Confirm brake judder
Step 2 says - Replace both front rotors
Step 3 says - only skip step 2 if new rotors are not in stock
and then the rest of the steps detail on the actual repair with pictures.
This should be all the ammunition you need to get your brakes fixed right the first time. I went through the cutting and brake pad only fix and will now call and address this tommorrow with my local Nissan Service dept.

Has anyone done any research to see if this is more with th 4x4 models?
Just sort of wondering if it is a problem related to any specific set ups?
Got close to 6,000 and no problems yet, but surely will keep it ready should I
need it.

My truck is a 4x2 and I just had mine done a couple of weeks ago. The service manager put it quite simply -- the brakes are too small for a vehicle that heavy. He said they have been doing brakes on just about every Titan they sell...

I just started to get the "judder" a few weeks ago. at about 14K. Mine was born in April 04. Got the new front rotors two new pad kits and the four bolts. Stops like a dream. My judder never got to the wheel. It was all in the brake pedal.
