Had the fix early on (under 15k) and then took it in @ 52.5k and mentioned the word judder. They did the whole job over again without question.
Mind you, these services were less than a year apart (Dec 05 on the 15k and Nov 06 on the 52.5k).

I got the Brake Shudder problem on my Titan and they replaced the front rotors but just turned the back ones new pads all around. At the same time they found the rear-end leaking. They replaced some bearings, seals, etc.
A lot of work and parts with absolutly NO CHARGE ! To have that done at 30,000 mi. at no cost is great.
I don't have any problems with my brakes but I would like to replace all the parts included on the new TSB. Can I just tell the dealer that my truck is vibrating and that I want the new brakes? can they say no? I was reading the bulleting posted earlier and it says that the vibration needs to be verified by a technician.
I hope I can pull it through when the parts are more available
The Dealership where I bought my '05 did the upgrade in early '06 with no questions asked........ They were well aware of the brake probs, and just did the mod........... They wanted to correct it before there was a prob....... nice to find a small town dealership that takes care of their (repeat) customers. And as they found out, I am a repeat offender.... errrr I mean customer!!!!
Last time I went in, I walked out with the '06 CC...... The salesman said " We already know that you are here, I'll just go get the Big man. Eithther you will buy or won't, but I'm not gonna subject you to the back and forth...... Just what I want to hear when I'm purchacing.................. I refuse the 6 hour purchace ordeal...........
My point on this one is find a reputable dealer, keep in touch with them...... The couple of dollars spent on an oil change here and there, keeps dealership records and gives you a chance to chat with the maintence crews, parts guys, sales staff, and management........ They know that you take your nissan serriously......... and will be back at some point to sell them another unit and give them a few more $$$$ in their coffers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They therefore give much better service. Just my 2 cents on this one!

In the process of ordering a 2007 Titan. My wife found this post about the brake recall and became alarmed. Reading through most of the posts, it appears that the problem was with the '04 and '05 models... if I'm correct on that assumption. What is the status with the '07 brakes? The nearest Nissan dealership is 220 miles from me and that is where I will be making my purchase. If this brake thing is a problem in the '07's, the distance becomes a problem and I may have to think this over a little more. Can anyone give me some more information on the brakes for the '07's and if the brake recall was for past vehicles? Has the past brake problem with the older models been corrected for the '07's? Thank you.

My 2005 Titan CC went for its 3rd brake repair today and also a leak under the master cylinder. They told me I have to leave it because of the leaking hose and because they have to overnight the front Rotors for the permanent brake fix that I made sure that I mentioned when I brought it in. They said they are just replacing the rotors in front and brake pads in front only because there wasn't any issues with the rear brakes?? I thought that the permanent fix calls for new rotors and new brake pads in front and resurfacing the rear rotors and new brake pads in rear??? Am I mistaken???
In the TSB for the brake fix under actions, it clearly says to do all that I stated above. After I talked with the service manager, He said that he is aware of the TSB's and not everyone coming in with a brake issue gets pads and rotors all the way around. I told him It didn't say anything about replacing the rear rotors unless they can't be resurfaced!!!!! I left it at that and called Nissans Consumer Affairs and complained to them (only because I didn't like his attitude). We'll see what happens. The dealer use to be O.K. Looks like I have to find a different dealer. My Truck is currently at Pine Belt Nissan in Toms River, New Jersey.
Am I reading the TSB wrong for the permanent fix or what??? Please let me know if this is what you recieved with your 3rd and final brake repair??? Thanks, Eddie
05 Titan with 45K currently... I had the first fix done @ 8K and all has been pretty good until about 5K ago. I started to notice a bit of judder and it's been getting a lot worse lately. The worst seems to be when I'm going downhill at about 45 and just want to slow down not stop. When I ease the brakes on I can really feel the 'wobble' - It sounds like they'll be fixed again under warranty.... I'll post again after I get it done.
I have a O5 CC with just a little over 10,000 miles on it, manufacture date 01/05. I am begining to experience the infamous brake problem. The brakes seem to require heavy pressure and not respond as I expect sometimes. I am also starting to feel the jutter when using the brakes. So far the jutter has been pretty light and the wife has not noticed it. I was heading to the Mini Cooper rally up at "The Dragon" (mountain roads), a few weeks ago and hit the brakes pretty hard. I got a pretty extreme jerking from the brakes that seemed to repeat itself when I tried it again. Maybe what I felt was part of the braking system that just showed up on the more intense driving conditions? Whatever the reason for the jolting I have been motivated to get something done.
I called my dealer Regal Nissan and checked parts availability, mentioning the service bulletin provided at the start of this post? The service rep. checked and says he has the parts in stock so I made an appointment for monday.
I am concerned that Regal may respond with the "we can not find a significant problem so we can not fix it routine". Should they just replace the parts mentioned in the bulletin, or do they have the option of claiming that they do not "see" the problem? Is there any way I can find out if I have the faulty brakes on my vehicle? I printed the bulletin and plan to take it in with me.
Having had more than my share of problems with Dodge dealerships (will never own another), I would like to be prepared and not have to fight an on going hit and run battle over months or years.
Ok I went and picked up my truck today after the "brake judder repair". Immediatley on seeing the repair report I was concerned becuase they just rground all my rotors and did not replace any parts. I had called in before hand mentioned the Service Bulletin at the start of this post and asked that they check to see if they had the parts to repair my truck under the new warranty. The service rep. checked and said they had the parts and so I made the appointment to get it fixed. I reminded the service rep. of that call.
The service rep. left and came back with another Service Bulletin Class: BR00-004c reference NTB00-033c Oct. 23, 2006. I was told that the repair for 20004 trucks is differnet than for 2005, that 2005's only get rotors turned. The Bulletin above looks like a general "All Nissan; Bulletin and does not mention Titans any where that I see.
Should they replace the brake pads and the other parts mentioned in posts above? Seems to me that if the rotors were "warrped" as my copy of the Warranty repair says that the brake pads must have been unnaturally worn and might not work properly after the rotors were ground to a different tollerance.
Under cause for both repairs it states: "Checked and found front/rear rotors are warped"
"Machined front rotors on car brake lathe as necessary to resolve vibration 40206-ZC00A (front rotor specs 25.9MM before and 25.5MM after)"
"Machined rear rotors on car brake lathe as necessary to resolve vibration 43206-7S00 (rear rotor specs 13.8MM before and 13.4MM after)"
