I just called 3 dealers in my area....2 said there is no fix yet (they arent "in the know").....and the 3rd said there is, but they dont have any parts yet.

as of right now, i have 19k miles on my truck, brakes have been resurfaced once.....and is beyond due for new brakes again....the front end seriously feels like its going to fall off...i wouldnt be surprised if i break a caliper or rotor soon. i will try to take some video with my camera phone to show how bad it is....its even noticable from the outside of the truck, my buddy said he could see the whole truck shake like a wet dog as we came to a stop on a steep downhill grade.

i need to get this fixed, but i cant go a day without a vehicle.

Got The New Tsb Done

As soon as I saw this post, I went down to the dealer and got on the list. they recieved there first shipment of the new parts on monday. They gave me the first set... because I bought their fisrt titan in dec 2004. I just got them put on yesterday, They put the new rotors, pads, anchor assy, in the front. They reserfaced the rear rotors and put the new pads in. they feel a bit firmer but otherwise not alot differnet. They do look beefier though. I will see if I can take some pics and post them for all of you.

My dealer told me today to hold off for another month till they get all of parts in. What's the deal? Why can't they just get these in already? Oh well, I guess just as long as they replace them for the better, I'll wait.

FYI

If they are resurfacing your rotors you are not getting the final fix.

I just had my second oil change today along with my second brake job. The customer service lady started with the same brake story she told me the first time I brought it in. After I reminded here that I already heard that story she started telling my about "The Fix" and that it is coming out but really slowly. She said that I would now be placed on the list a hoped that I would receive "The Fix" in three months or less? She said the rotors are bigger and slotted.

Has anyone received this "Fix" yet or am I going back in for my third oil change and...oh yea, the third brake job?

I got the "final fix" on Monday. It was done at my dealer, but a regional tech actually installed the fix. Brakes feel a lot firmer which I like although stopping power feels the same.

Spoke with the local repair center here in Sugar Land, Tx and he said he had the rotors and pins in stock. It this all that is needed to get the complete 'Fix'?

Mine has not been touched by Nissan since it left the factory and we are celebrating our first aniversary this month.

They are new Rotors, new part # and not re-serfaced.

as soon as I get my digital camera back I will post some pics of the new rotors and pads.
