whats up everyone. I went to the rim shop yesterday to test fit the wheel to make sure it didnt rub. These are the rims that I posted on another thread that most of you liked, but didnt tell you what size rim I was going to get. It rubbed a little but something that would stop rubbering after I drive them a couple hundred miles. I havent bought them yet it was just to make sure they wouldnt rub but I plan on ordering them and should come in a couple of days. Thanks for the helping me decide on a rim.

DON'T DO IT! Unless you're going to black out the windows and become a pro basketball player, Don't do it! lol I'd try MAYBE a 20" rim.
I agree. Cheese. They will go the way of the large wing, neon light on window wash nozel, neon lights underneath, etc. soon enough.

You're probably a good guy. No disrespect to you. But big wheels take away from what a truck is built for: towing, hauling, off-road, etc. I'm from the all go, no show school. I'd much rather have a beat-up car with a V-8 than a 4 banger with flares and a neon paint job. If you notice on the vette, I did suspension work, brakes, handling, etc. first and planned on motor next. No body kits/wings, wacky paint, etc. Rims were purchased to allow larger width tires and larger brakes only and are GM knock-offs. Flares are stock GM from a '96 vette. Stereo was inherited from a friend killed on a bike. No cheese, pure performance upgrades.
BTW, hate rap, basketball, hip-hop, ghetto, baggie jeans, snow boards, pimpin' etc. Like Rock, Football, suburbs, gap jeans, skis, and being responsible. So flame on if you wish.

WTF EVER!!!!! Yea you dont want to look like my piece of s#it. HaHaHa!!! Seriously, I tried 23's but went with 22'sfor the extra sidewall on the tires and more tire brand and size availability. I guess some just dont appreciate the finer things. I guess the same kind of person that builds a vette and outfits it with "knock off" parts. Or maybe his Gap jeans are a bit too tight.

Now that you mention it, I do like your rig, except everything listed in rollers and exterior. Besides that, nice. BTW, the "knock offs" are forged USA, not cast in Japan like the stock GM ones. Stonger, and lighter. Also the GM came only in black, not chrome. Black rims on an all black car don't work for me. Guess I better loosen my Gap jeans some.
