Its easy to remove with the window in, just lower the window all the way, but putting it back in can be difficult to impossible witout removing at least the door panel. There are some breaks/cutouts in the metal that the rubber slides in towards the bottom, maybe the bottom 8 inches. This area will need a little guidance with the hand. For that you will have to remove the door panel and peel back the plastic liner a little to get your hands in there and guide it past the metal tracks that have cutouts in them.
I had taken mine out of my first Titan a couple of times while diagnosing a problem.
