Katzkin leather alternative

Well, I have a '04 XE KC 4x4 and have been really looking into changing the interior around a bit to spice things up a bit since its really plain and boring. I wanted to start by getting a 2 tone leather seat cover but all the places i looked at were in excess of 600 dollars. So this is going to be my first project for my titan. Ive decided to go tomorrow and look for a high quality soft/durable leather that i can buy by the foot. Im going to use my moms sewing machine and attempt to "work my magic" to create a nice seat cover for my titan. The best part about doing it myself is that you can load images into my moms sewing machine, and it will embroider it onto the material. Like i said, this is going to be my first attempt, but hopefully the results will be good. At least i will have the help of my mom who has been sewing for over 15 years now. More updates as they come.

:-\ no luck today finding some leather that would be suitable to go into the titan. I did find some nice fur and a nice polyester, vinyl material, but my titan needs leather ;-D
