Well, I don't know this for sure but I'm betting that the so called "teflon" wax is just a carnuba wax with teflon thrown in the mix. On second thought, it's probably a synthetic with the teflon mixed into it. That would account for it lasting longer. I'm not sure about the benefits of teflon in this situation. I will say that I wouldn't pay that much more for "teflon" wax. Here's a link to some Dupont car wax with teflon for $8.99.
