I an in London working for a few weeks have not seen any Titans, or many trucks for that matter. There are a bunch of nissan cars and suv's we dont have in the states. I will try to snap some pictures and post. There is one really neat looking Nissan pathifinder/armada mix breed suv I saw.

Your going to have to look really REALLY hard to find a Titan in England. Titans are only in North America. The roads are a little to narrow out there I think.
Look at the price of gas in London and you'll figure out why there aren't to many large truck around. I know someone with a Ram Hemi 1500 in England, according to him it's aboout $300 US to fill the tank.
I seem to recall seeing a post about some guy here on TitanTalk after I signed up in July 04 talking about how he had a Titan imported to the UK. LOL and we thought the price of gas here was bad!

I was there a few months ago and walked by a Mercedes-Benz dealer. The small SUV, the M340 I think, had a sticker price of over the equivalent of US $90,000. Prices are generally higher but the exchange rate is the real killer.

A few weeks ago I was talking to the salesman I bought my truck from and he was saying he sold 5 Titans bound for the UK and 3 to Australia. Said the guy he sold them to was having to change alot of things to make them legal for import to those countries.

The Titan was designed and built in the US for the US only. Of course that does include Canada as well but, it's burly size was catered to us Americans. It should be legal in most countries though since we have the most strict regulations as far as safety and emissions goes.
On any given day you can usually see some nice exotics such as TVR's, Noble's, Aston Martin's, etc.
Regarding the Titan, Nissan did send a couple over to be reviewed by their press. It makes for some interesting reading as they mostly liked it but knew it wouldn't work in the UK. I love this quote: "Be careful that you don't decapitate somebody with the door mirrors. Seriously." Here are some links:
I was in London for a month in 2003, and I saw zillions of smaller, taller diesel vans running about town in delivery use. As well as lots of diesel sedans.
I believe the costs of running a car in England (high purchase price, parking spaces in Belgravia that cost $10K / yr, fuel costs of $8 / gallon and a daily $10 fee to enter downtown London) made owning and operating any auto in London prohibitive. A Titan would be a hideous choice.
Probably the world's best vehicle for the local market is the black London cab.
An interesting note - after reading the articles from sennal - I went to thier auto search looking a Mini's (I think that it a pretty cool car - might fit in my Titan's bed) The cars listed the odommeter reading a miles (not meters). Kinda funny that the speedo is in Km, but the odem has miles.

When people say "clean as a whistle", they forget that a whistle is full of spit.
The Titan is available as an unofficial ('grey') import in Holland. This means that a dealer has taken it upon himself to import the Titan, and also get it approved for use.
As mentioned before, the gasoline prices are about 4 times what they are here. And in Holland, you pay an anual tax for your vehicle, based on the weight of the vehicle. Not such a good deal with a Titan
There are some workarounds for this though:
- If the truck is used solely for business, the annual taxes drop dramatically
- most owners have the engine adapted to use LPG(Liquified Petroleum Gas) as a fuel. LPG is about the same price as gasoline here in the US. It's a pretty cool system. The truck will run on LPG, but can be switched on the fly to gas, should you run out of LPG.
That just leaves you with one problem: parking the monster. Parking spaces in Holland are laid out for cars like a mini, not Titans
o, and I almost forgot, the Titan will probably cost you twice what you would pay here in the US....
