extended warranty questions

1. Have any of you purchased extended warranties from New-Nissans.com?
2. Is there a card or anything you get after you purchase an extended warranty? For example, I bought an extended warranty for my ATV from Honda, and I got a nice credit card-looking card with my VIN and the warranty expiration date on it. Is an extended warranty from Nissan similar? Should I expect a similar card?

Thanks.

I bought mine from Advantage Nissan in Washington state. They advertise online. Paid $1500 and change for a 7 year, 100K, Security Plus warranty. Got the warranty info stuff in the mail about 2-3 weeks later. Includes a couple of thin, peel off cards. The main thing you need is the warranty info uploaded into Nissan's data base. The card is just in case they can't find it. Keep a copy of your contract as well.

Got the extended warranty on my motorcycle and it always pops up on the screen as soon as they enter my VIN or name. I assume it's the same with Nissan's database.

Regards,

John
