what is that plastic box under the center seat

ok i have an 04 xe cc and i notice the under the bench seat there is a plastic box.Is something in there ?what is it for?

am talking about the box under the seats not in front of it,al thou when i felt under there it did feel like a cup holder,if it is why is it there you cant get to it?

The middle seat should be removed when your really thirsty.

But its a paradox if you have cupholders built into the seat.

It's true. Someone posted pics on here somewhere. You pull the center seat of the bench out and there is a plastic console with 2 cup holders and a "coin holder".

It covers the center console bracket and airbag computer. Titans equiped with the bucket seats have the center console to cover that stuff up. Since you guys with the bench don't, they devised that clever little plastic cover.


....or at least that's my explaination.
