Here's an portable option, haven't try it myself yet, but it should work. Low cost Digital Thermometer with a thermocouple wire probe, only $29.90, -58 f to +1382 f ! http://www.sweetmarias.com/prod.roastkits.shtml Attach probe end to trans pan with aluminum adhesive tape or ??. Could be used on rearend with longer lead/probe.

This is what you want. Do it right the first time

Both the gauge/gauges and POD can be found here

You may want to do a google search to see where you can get the best price. The gauges are made by AUTOMETER, and the gauge pods can either be a universal or one made specifically for the Titan (don't know if they make those...you would have to search)

Personally, I'd like to just get the SE/LE gauge cluster and plug that in. I assume with the CAN bus that the signal is already there, the XE does have an A/T TEMP idiot light.

That is an interesting idea. Anyone ever look into switching the XE for an LE/SE guage cluster? What features does the other cluster have that the XE doesnt? I know there are a few...
