Convenient Fuel Economy Spreadsheet for MS Excel

EDIT: 5/6/05 Added a graph to the spreadsheet to reflect MPG.

Well I got bored this afternoon and put all of my fill-ups into a spread sheet form.

The sheet keeps track of individual fill-ups, with gallons pumped, miles driven, and MPG fields.

The sheet automatically outputs OVERALL averages for: MPG, Miles Per Tank, Gallons Per Fill-Up, Worst MPG, Best MPG.

Hope somebody finds this useful!

JD

I'll give it a whirl simply because you were kind enough to generate the spreadsheet. Thanks for your efforts.

I've Taken your spreadsheet and added to it including a chart with MPG trendlines and a Moving average for your Fuel economy.

The information for my Titan is included but can easily be replaced by your own info.

hope someone gets some use from this.

Thanks JayDee, after spending the day on the phone with Microsoft and Cisco, I can appreciate someone who put in some formulas to make a spreadsheet work!

Thumbs up

I've been tracking my mpg from the second fill-up to-date. I'm already on the second page of a legal pad. This program will be sweet, and allow me to see trends much easier.

Thanks guys!

I added a simple line graph that charts your MPG vs. Tank Number. If anything it looks cool.

I suspect that if you write some comments out to the side of each tank, such as "Vacation, all hiway miles", or "Towed 7500lb trailer" you'll be able to come back and say "ohhh that's why my mileage was bad that tank."
