17.7 @ 70 16.8 @70 fully loaded

Carrying 1100# of mesquite plus my wife, myself, and all our clothes from Tx to Home.

Our average out was 17.7 over the 1600 miles out and 16.8 on the way back loaded with the wood.

Ampsoil in the meatball and the engine. So I can say that without a doubt that had I gone a little slower or had a little less weight, I could have easily topped the 18 mark.

Now at 27000 miles and running great. Only had one set of breaks, and the new ones have survived a panic stop from 70 to keep from killing a moron!

I love this truck!

it is a great truck aint it sounds like you had quite a trip. how were the gas prices?

That's good mileage, What are you getting driving around town? Because I only get about 13mph around town driving.

Around town I get 15. This was all highway. Gas was OK, High was 2.12, low was 1.85. I was averageing 350 to 380 a tank, and never had the light come on once.
