Speed sensor wire??

Any one know where the speed sensor wire is? I am hooking a nav up and need that wire. I did a search but really didnt find anything in Laymen's terms. I know now that the wire is a white wire with a red strip. But where? I see a wire coming out of the top left of the fuse box that is a white wire with a red strip but I dont want to tap into it unless I know for sure. Can anyone help!!!???

Does this help. It shows the white wire with the red strip being correct. I'm looking for something from the fuse box.

Yea that does help squid. It confirms that it is a white and red wire. But my problem now is trying to find the physical location in the truck. I know where the fuse box is, so I think that would be the best way to go if that wire comes from the fuse box. I do see a white and red wire in the box but not sure if that is the correct one. Any more help is sure appreciated! Thanks again.

Hey Nizmo thanks for the input. Im not really sure what face plate you are talking about though. Is it the face plate on the fuse box or face plate on the radio? Thanks again

Speed sensor is a white wire with red strip...It is the plug that hooks onto your av switch panel...the one you use to select cd 1,2 ect. This is tricky becuase its not on the front harness..its on the back one covered with foam..you will know what I mean when you tear into it.

Thanks. Do I need to take the dash apart to get to that? If so, any hints on doing that?

The only thing you need to take off is the face plate...just start pulling at the top down....Make sure you disconnect the neg battery before you take the SRS harness off...or do what I did...just unscrew the SRS light off the face plate and let it hang there...
