New project

I just got word that I will be aquiring a Titan motor very soon. The goal is to build a desert race truck using the shell of a hardbody. We are going to run a stand-alone fuel/ign. system (pectel) and mate the motor to a 6 speed sequntial trans. The motor guy says an easy 450hp with custom exhaust and the pectel. This truck will actaully be a budget built race car but should run extremely well. Im just so happy about all this coming together, i wanted to share. I will certainly keep everyone updated as things progress. a few other priliminary specs will be 4" shocks at all corners, about 18" travel in the front, 24 in the rear, race weight around 3200 lbs, 110-112" wheel base. all the suspension will be custom and the body mounted on a tube chassis running 35" tires. We are hoping to experiment with the motor to see what we can do, my motor guy is thrilled with this, and things this will be THE motor to build very soon.

Pectel makes some of the best aftermarket engine control units.

Greg, are you using a T6M or T6? You're going to remain NA I assume... What other goodies are you adding?

76mm shocks... Good god, you'll be able to jump over Texas.

Austin, we are using the t6, the t6m is the same but uses a mil-spec connector.
