HELP! Chassis Squeaking

I have read somewhere hopefully on this forum about the springs and shackles of the suspension sqeaking and being very annoying. I have to say that my cc 04 titan is doing just that. How do I correct this? is there a fix for this? thanks

You sure it's not the front muffler hanger?

Just did some fiddling with mine; the front muffler hanger was rubbing against the bracket. REALLY annoying.

It just took a couple of good hard whacks with a ball-peen to put some space in between the hangar and the bracket.

And I have an early '04 CC.

A few moments with some Teflon based spray lube eliminated my spring squeaks.

"Super Lube' from NAPA works like a charm. Sprays on as a penatrant but then gels into a teflon grease that won't wash off.

Jack your body up and spray grease between the leafs on your springs. When you get it to the right spot your squeeks will stop.

Mine was squeaking like crazy and I took it to the dealer. They lubed al around underneath and I have not heard a squeak since. It's a whole new truck every since.

ive noticed recently that when i get out of the truck or unload something from bed that the rear leafs groan/squeak. maybe i need to spray the leafs down w/ some good silicone lube as mentioned above.

was exactly what i was going to say, really had a hard time finding it, because it would only do it while driving. but luckily i looked up and found the shiny spot where it was hitting, did the same as steamguy, and it quit.

Just got the truck back from the dealer today and had them try to fix the squeeky shocks. EVERYTIME I STOP IT SQUEAKS! I MEAN EVERY TIME! It makes my suspenion sound like it's a 20 year old Ford!!! My brakes also moan and groan!

The dealer has lubed my leaf springs twice now and the squeak is back again.

Someone on here told me to loosen the bolt a tad that holds all the leaf springs straight. He said it worked on his truck, what do you guys think?

I took mine to the dealer because of a "clunk" in the leaf springs. You could bounce the truck by hand and duplicate the noise. It sounded like something was loose. I don't know what they found but they replace the entire rear suspension and leaf springs. Sounds nice now.

Anybody have problems with this sound happening at speeds of 20mph or more? I get them and hear the whole car cracking squeaking etc. It sounds like the suspension or muffler system. I might have to get under there and fix it sometime.
