02 sensor

i was wandering if an 02 sensor can go bad and the check engine light not go on

this is not for the TITAN

its for a 92 toyota tercel
engine light is has not been on at all at this time

ive had 02 sensor problems in past with this car where the engine light would be intermitent

the car bogs down when the pedal is mashed(sissnt used to do that)

i just replaced the fuel filter and checked the plugs cap wires and rotor(ALL GOOD)

i dont know what else to check or look for

i added some fuel additive to perhaps clean the injectors

im still waiting to let that cycle through and see how she runs after wards

any thoughts or ideas

thanks

Air filter ok? Check the throttle body and butterfly for grime and throttle cable for slack.

Could be the MAF sensor. I have no idea how to check that though. Good luck.

Have you checked your fuel pressure? Maybe the pump is going. Also whens the last time you had the CAT replaced. You could punch it out and see if that helps. Just be careful and where a mask when punching it out.
