rear differential update and its effect on the emergency brake??

Hey all just got my aluminum differential

big ups to Turner Nissan once again they are ridiculously awesome!!!!

anyway they removed the pumpkin (old 2004 diff. cover rusted out pretty bad) and added synthetic fuel all under warranty baby!!!!!

anyway now my emergency brake is waaaay tight. whereas before I needed to depressit down all the clicks to feel like the titan was safe

but now it only needs maybe 2-3 clicks at best

so for all you gear heads is the rear differential somehow onnected to the emergency break function?

Don't know why they would remove the pumpkin to replace the cover. I doubt that they did. And this would have no effect on the parking brake adjustment. They probably saw that it needed to be adjusted and did it.
