Fan Switch Makes "Click" When It Is Turned On?

I have about 2100 miles on my 05 Titan and this morning I noticed that when I turn on the fan switch it makes a "click" sound under the dash on the passengers side. Is this a worry?

It's probably just a relay pulling in, I would think it is normal ( If your fan actually still functions ).

Is it a constant clicking when the blower is working or just when you first turn it on?

Every Nissan I have ever owned has developed a click when the blower is running. Kind of like bearing on the blower fan is bad or something. It would get faster when you would turn the blower on a higher setting.

It was always after the warranty was up so I just put up with it, but on my 2000 Maxima is finally froze up and the blower would only work if you hit it in just the right spot every time you turned it on.

The stealer told me that they would have to replace the whole blower assembly for big $$$, so I traded it in for the Titan.

I hear the same click whenever I turn my HVAC on. It's not a constant thing, only once when turned on and then again if I turn it off. Stealer told me it was normal.

Do all your trucks do this too? Doesn't sounld like you guys know what the heck we're talking about......worries me.

Its the blower relay. Normal operation, nothing to worry about.

I have this sort of thing happen, but it's when I turn the dial to the coldest setting I hear a click. Note: not the dial that affects the fan speed.

I wouldn't worry about it, I don't. My 06 has done it since new and still works just fine at 55K miles. By the way, just wondering, is that 2100 miles a typo because that is incredibly low for an 05?

EDIT: I just realized this thread is from 05!

I get a single click when you turn it on and another single click when the fan dial is turned off.

My '07 was like this from day 1. This is normal.
