Towing With a titan

Ok, my mom has been looking at titans, and is thinking about buying one, and when i move out she will probably be wanting to tow a fifth wheel, maybe 23-27ft, and i was wondering how well it would stack up, i know it wouldnt be better than my truck, but it also would get better than 8 mpg. so if anyone could give me some info on what they've towed and how well the titan did doing so, it would be greatly appreciated.

BTW if anyone wants to get into a pull off with a F-150 come over to www.Fordtruckenthusiasts.com, personally my moneys on the titan, but it still would be cool to see how well they stacked up.

87 F-250 with a 460, its all i could afford, only put me down 1600 bucks. Besides i dont need a nice truck seeing as I only have my permit. And as a plus it will pull your house down in four low.

Aint nothing wrong with that. I do think the titan will tow better than you think though.

I have no doubts it will tow better than any other trucks in the half ton class, but nothing beats a big block, one problem though, my wallet seems to be getting lighter by the mile, im lucky if i get 9 mpg lol.

Nothing beats a big block

It's the classic rabbit vs the turtle story. Eventually the turtle catches up because the rabbit is wasting to much time at the gas pump.

Seriously, I have a 4x4 LE w/big tow package. Best I've done was a tandem axle 20' enclosed trailer loaded to the hilt with concert speakers and amps. Best guess is about Pulling was no problem. Honestly, I would not have known the trailer was there if it wasn't in my mirror every time I looked back to be sure.
