houston titan owners - muffler shop needed

i've lived in houston my whole life, but i've never put an exhaust on anything i've ever owned (until now! muahahaha). i'm going to buy (when the paycheck comes in a couple weeks ) the flowmaster american thunder 70 series exhaust setup, and i need a good muffler shop who knows what theyre doing to put it in. suggestions?

also, from what i've read on here it's suggested to install either a Y or H pipe instead of going straight back. what are some more opinions on this, and if i should get one where should i purchase one?

thanks yall.

Welcome to the forum. Send a PM to "the head" as I am sure he will be able to help you out with this problem. Then once its complete, you can come to the July 17th meet at Memorial Park. All of the information can be found in the Texas Regional section.

What part of town do you live in?

Also, isn't that a bolt on kit? If so, why are you looking for a muffler shop? All you need is a few different size sockets and a little time under your truck to remove the old system and install the new.

If you are wanting a custom install from a very reputable shop. The north side has one on the corner of 1960 and Kuykendahl. I believe the name is Ripleys or Rileys. Several friends have had complete systems from anything header or stock on back. Best of Luck.

The Flowmaster system includes a Y-pipe, there's no need to purchase anything else, should have everything you need. And you should be able to install it yourself, unless you're wanting it welded up.

hmm, i didn't realize it was an easy-install kit. i'm fairly competent (or so i think, hah) under the hood so i could probably do it myself on a weekend...

although i've gotta say, reading around some more here today i'm now torn between this and the gibson split rear system. I CAN'T DECIDE!! AUGGHHH!! :P i've heard clips on the gibson and it sounds great. plus, i can get that in SS.

someone please decide for me
