Cool Need some help!!!

I am probably going to buy a Titan in the fall and I was wondering if it would be more sensible and wise to buy an 06 instead of an 05 (considering that they have any leftovers at the dealership). Any suggestions?

get an 05. there shouldn't be much of a difference, other than price. and you still get the same warrenty starting from the day you buy it.

just look at the build date, and make sure it has all the proper upgrades (power rear window, aluminum diff cover, thicker front rotors) and you'll be good to go.

I would get the 06 if it is not considerably more expensive than the 05. Even though the 05 and 06 will be the same actual age, in 5 years when you go to sell it the 05 will be a year older than an 06, and hence the 06 will have a higher resale value.

Save a few $k now or make a few $k more when you sell it, it's your call. I would try to confirm what changes are in store between '05 and '06 models. If it's only cosmetic, see above. If it's performance, '06.

But I have a tough enough time making my own decisions...should I drink a lot of beer or less vodka?

Does anybody know when the 06's will actually be released, or is it still speculation?

The first few should be trickling into the dealers' lots during the second half of October into November.
There might be a slight $ incentive on the '06 depending on the gas prices and a huge one on the '05 models still left.

I am planning to buy before the end of the year myself, and I'm pretty sure I'm gonna pick up an 05. I plan to drive this truck for a very long time, so more cash in my pocket is money i can spend elsewhere, and more depreciation means nothing because I'll have it until it's not worth much anyways. Unless there are massive differences between the 06 and 06 I think the 05 will do me fine, and Plus in novemeber or december I plan to find myself a very nice discount. I don't need to buy so I can just sit back and see how much money they'll come down, atleast in texas, the dealer has to pay taxes on what's on the lot, so sometimes they'll give you an even bigger discount the last week of the year. So that's when I expect to be getting into mine.

Get an 05 and reap the benefits, as far as price, when the 06's come out.
My 05 is wonderful

Dude, I love your 2 signature quotes from Pat Green!!!

I used to have "Yeah well I like Texas, there ain't no doubt, just listen to me cus I know what I'm talkin' about!"

I also had:

"I don't wear no Stetson
But I'm willin' to bet son
That I'm as big a Texan as you are" - REK

"So take me out to a dancehall
Slap my foot down to the rhythm
Tell 'em to play them old songs that we all love
And you tell me that you want me
And I tell you that I want you too
And I kiss your face,
Whenever you want me to." - Pat Green

I love Pat's older stuff. His new CD I could do without. I hate that Baby Doll song

I would hold out for the '06 simply because it seems as though the problems are slowly trickling out of the mix. The further down the road, the better in my opinion.
