Very interesting to say the least. When a manufactor puts out test results are they that full of $hit? Where do they get their numbers from?
I'd say that varies from manufacturer to manufacturer, some are just more honest than others. I'm not saying that they outright lie, but believe me they are going to do whatever possible to show their product under the best possible conditions. There are also big differences between the actual types of dynos, some are known to give better results. Plus if you look closely at JBA's dyno, you'll see a note that says it's a pre-production Titan with JBA's exhaust as well. There could be big differences between their test truck and the run of the mill Titan. So just take what they say with a grain of salt and look more closely at real world results. I think you'd be better off waiting for some equal length headers. Short headers wouldn't offer much improvement over your stock manifold, especially when you factor in the installation hassle.
Thanks Sammy, I appreciate the info. If I am going to spend that kind of money, it better be worth it. I'll just stick with the dual exhaust and drop-in air filter and wait for something really worth it. COME ON NISMO!!!!!!!

I predicted the S/C would be big $$$ initially. The prices will eventually come down after they re-coup their R&D costs and so on. The 249 hp sounds about average for a stock Titan, but I have no idea where the 379ftlbs came from. Either way, it is a very nice gain in power, and is probably at a safe boost level. Remember, you are only a pulley away from higher numbers!!! The S/C will also make larger gains with supporting airflow mods, like CAI and exhaust. I'll bet one would see 400rwhp easy with those alone.
It is also nice that they include an intercooler, whereas it is an option on lots of other kits.

Well dang, let's just put as many yellow stickers on the body, and interior as we can find. That should definitly get the Titan up to at least 450 horses.
Nissan warranty. Stillen will warranty the parts that are voided by the SC so you are still covered. Still doesn't give me my extra 125 HP.

10-12 hp max. thats if everything else flows as good as the headers. say for granted that the headers will flow 800 units, but your cats if you leave them on, which most people will have to only flows 500 units, then you see little to no gains.
on the other hand he headers flow 800 units, cats 800, or no cats, muffler 800 units. then the maximum effect of headers will be noticed.
you basically need a complete free flowing system to achieve any noticeable gains.
Most of the ls1 with high tourque gains from headers are accomanied with a programmer, and numerous other mods they have at their hands.
Stillen= say 80hp gains and 6500 to install= $81 per hp
Headers= say 12 hp at $1000=$1300 to install=$83-90 per hp.
Headers just arent worth it.
But i would really love to see a Dyno...
