Update on Stillen Supercharger 6-10-05

Ok guys, I talked with Stillen today and here’s the scoop.
The Supercharger will be available in about a week.
They did some final dyno testing and here are the results:

Stock 248 hp to the wheels, after SC 350 hp to the wheels.
Stock 379 lbs torque, after SC 418 lbs torque.

Cost $5,800 not installed. $6,868 installed (by Stillen)

3 year 36000 mile engine and SC warranty

Here is what you get:

Supercharger, new injectors, fuel pump, new fuel system, intercooler & charger, and ECU (piggy backed)

They have 10 kits available now and the first two installed will be featured in some magazines (would not say which ones)

They also have a waiting list of about 30 people and the first 10 on the list will be getting called in the next week or so.

If you want on the list call Stillen direct and ask for Elias at X-158

Have Fun!

I'm somewhat unimpressed by those performance numbers. I mean we've got guys getting close to 300hp to the wheels with a few simple mods right now, $6000 for an extra 50 doesn't seem worth it. I was hoping for 400 to the wheels, or am I just a dreamer.

I'm with you Sammy. That's way to much money for not to much gain.

Thanks for the update though gf.

Great minds think alike. Also, I don't know how much The Head spent, but I think you can spray those extra 50 ponies for not too many $.

As long as we are confessing dreams, I would desperately love to blow the doors off a Mercedes S 600, 500 horsepower and 590 twist. Somebody wake me up.

Well I mean for their comparison they are saying over 100hp increase, but I don't think I've seen a Titan dyno that low before. Someone get the Head in here, I need skoolin'

And you can get a Tundra supercharger for around $3800. I was holding off on a CAI till this thing came out, guess I can start shopping for one now.

I think the gains are decent but not worth the 6K. Although, SC's are generally good for a 30% gain anyway. 102hp gain in pretty good, I was a little disappointed in the little amount of torque gain.
