WOW! New Titan owner as of today 6-11-05

I took delivery of my brand new 2005 radiant silver Titan King Cab SE and

IT IS AWESOME!

Only 5 miles on the odo!

SE Popular
Big Tow
Trac
Utili-track

I thought I might wish I had gotten the CC, but a few cruising miles already with some passengers, and it has plenty o' room!!

Pure awesome!

me too!

Congrats on your Titan. I picked mine up this morning as well -- 2005 SE CC, smoke, preferred pkg with captains chairs, Rockford Fosgate stereo, big tow, trac pkg, etc. I'm loving mine also!

Congrats back ...

Same to you! I was so torn between the KC and CC but the extra $1,500 or so helped me decide. Also, good color choice! I probably would have gone with smoke instead of silver, 'cept that silver shows dirt so well, er, rather NOT well.

Did I mention these things are awesome?

Oh, Oooohhh ... I have a remote gate opener and garage door opener, and the Titan's learning remote thing learned 'em both perfectly, so no more remotes in the car!

WOW!

Talking congrats

I owned an '04 XE KC for about two weeks...bought it used w/8800 miles on it...I got it real cheap...kind of a brother in law thing...Liked it so much I traded it in on an '05 CC SE 4x4...Popular/cpt chairs/big tow/rockford fosgate. It also was used (disgruntled customer) but only had 1700 miles on it. Red Alert. Got it for $27,775...so good deal. But even then I was hedging thinking the '04 was just fine, but then I almost backed into a guy in a wheelchair and I took that as an omen to get the 05 with bumper sensors.

Anyway, congrats to both of you...and yeah, they are awesome truck IMO.

Congrats on your new trucks!!!!!

Most people here know how you feel, Grrrrrrreat!!!!

Good Luck Wid'em.

drpeeb, you are saying that the silver generally looks cleaner when not washed, right? That's one of the biggest reasons I had to have silver, plus I like the color, especially when you add any black or smoke accessories.

I've had what I thought were great colors on past vehicles, but they only looked good just after they got washed. Now when I see a nice red truck or any other color I like, I have to stop and admire it, then remind myself that washing although I still do it of course, has taken a back seat with my youngen's being around. Right now I have to be happy with the auto powerwash, me drying it, and a clean vacuumed interior. Reminds me I have to get some good wax on this soon!!!!!!

Cheif: Exactly! I don't wash my cars often enough to justify owning a dark color. I actually think black is usually the best looking color, but you're right, only when clean. My other car is silver and looks at least good even when it's pretty dirty. It's here: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/225391

dslater: YEAH! Backup sensers are awesome!

gftitan: Tks!

Now I gotta start lookin' fer goodies and plannin' trips and stuff!

The only thing that shows up well on silver is dried road salt which is most of the winter. I always go for the underbody wash and try to stow it away and keep it clean as long as possible during winter.

drpeeb, that is one fine lookin' Mustang and Homestead too!!!
