It's an ambiance light. To slightly light the inside of the cab at night. Nissan calls it a mood light.

he's right...

It's mood lighting. So when you and you're date/significant other are listening to Barry White on your Rockford Fosgate stereo, you'll have some nice mood lighting to go with it!

BTW-Welcome to titantalk.com!! You'll enjoy this site, and you'll love your truck! Tell us more about your rig-CC, color (it better be silver!), and post a picture, when you can...

It's hard to notice its effect when driving in town with city lights. It is really noticable when driving on unlit country roads. Cover and uncover it with your hand to see the effects.

Lights up your center console. It shines in the cubby hole in the center console.

The easiest thing to do is....at night, cover it with your finger and compare the effect. It's very subtle but a definite plus in my opinion. Adds just enough light to see the center consol.

You can stay single and be miserable,

Wow, I've had my Titan for a few months now and have never noticed it. on the other hand, there arent too many unlit roads in my area either.

Sure glad I've been reading these forums before buying my Titan.
I'm finding out about all these cool features, but it's making my wait
even more stressful!
