Help with an issue, please!

As many of you know, I surprised my husband on Father's Day with a 2005 CC LE. It took an entire week of lying and sneaking around to get the truck bought and hidden and then in our driveway for the big reveal, which went perfectly. When my husband gets a little time away from his new baby, he promises to post here.
Here's the problem, which I don't quite know how to deal with.
I finally had time yesterday to get in the truck and really look it over and realized that the truck HAS NO SEAT HEATERS which is standard in the LE according to all paperwork and literature I've seen. I'm as shocked as I can be, I mean as far as I'm concerned they should just be there just like it should have leather seats or a power rear window.
How would you fine folks here deal with this? Can we or should we insist that the dealer add them? Is this something that can be done fairly easily? I would think it's not that big of a deal, other than the fact than it really upsets me.
Thanks all,

I'm pretty sure someone else here encountered that problem too w/an LE. The dealer should make it right

I looked, but I can't find it. I swear, there was a thread here where someone took delivery on an LE and didn't have the seat heater switches, but the dealer was able to put them in (just the switches were missing).

i would assume if infact there are "no heated seats" that it would just be missing the switches.... the wiring and all should be there. I would also assume the heating elements are in the seats.

AFAIK, leather only comes in the LE, as so heated seats. Therefore all leather seats (front) in Titans, should have the heating elements. If your switches are missing, i'm guessing and hoping all they need to do it pop off the covers, and put in 2 switches for you.

let us know how it goes

Just ask the dealer to show you how to turn on the heated seats. That will get them going. Big deal or not you should get what you pay for. Goodluck

bench seat an issue?

I talked to the dealership and they are saying that since I got the LE with the front bench seat option that there is no way to put that option on the bench seat. This sounds odd to me.

Shocked and awed,

I am the husband. I know someone will be coming to pick this rental truck up sometime soon, but until then! I don't know what I did right, I wish she would tell me so I could do it again

Don't worry honey, your hubby will load the big German Shepherd into a crate in the back of the shinny new truck and go reason with the dealership. Hmmm I see you talked to the dealership, did you mention to them that they list it on the sticker on the truck?

The wife says there is no switch, she apparently checked where the book said it should be. This truck does not have the center console, its awkward for the dog that likes to lie in my lap while I drive. I sure can't find it.

LE comes standard with power heated seats, now if you have bench seats, did they subtract some money of the price (since it is down grading as opposed to upgrading). Also look on your sticker that was attached to window (if it says heated seats make them give you heated seats, don't take no BS from them.

That's your problem. The dealer is correct. You can't have heated seats with the front bench option. Only captains leather seats are heated.

On the bright side, since you have the bench seat, you have the all coveted coin holder!! (Not dealer installed w/Captains – unless someone swiped it from an Armada.)

Right, further investigation reveals that the sticker on the truck did state that trucks with bench seats do not have seat warmers.

Coin holder? Is that the little section with a foam opposing pad in the center console?

The coin holder comment was meant as a joke - It's a running joke on this board. The captain seat trucks did not come with a coin holder (but you can buy one delivered with the Armada for $58. - That's a lot of coin.) Anyway, the bench seat trucks do have a little tray in the front of the fold down centerrest that many people call a coin holder, but honestly, it's pretty bad at that. Its just a shallow depression that the change wallows around in. (I searched for a picture, but there are sooooo many threads that it could take me forever.)

Now if you have some foam padding in yours, then you might have something special - that I haven't seen. (Perhaps its an upgrade for 05?) Perhaps the coin holder gag gets a little more interesting...

Anyway - congrats on your sweet new ride. And your awesome wife. Mine has already told me never to expect any such thing. Ever.

Oh I get it

After yesterday morning I guess I am willing to believe anything.

Yes, the "coin" tray in my truck has a piece of foam in the opposing side. I guess it could be some packing deal but it seems to be attached. I thought it was there to make it shut quieter and safer with the added benny of holding coins in place. I am sure Nissan could add one after-market for $150. Or one could spring for $.10 of foam and do the 10 second installation themselves

Is that more in the spirit of things?

<~~~~~~~has both captains chairs AND coinholder. Some came with them while others didn't. No rhyme or reason.
