Prodigy Controller Question....HELP

I just installed the Prodigy on that cross bar under the dash. That seems the consensus as being the best location. I used the factory harness and was able to get the wiring down in 10 minutes.

My real question is about the controller itself. I know I can go to the Tekonsha website and I've done that in regards to reading the users manual but I want to make sure my controller is acting the same.

It says theres a power button on top of the controller (blue button) but when I push that I switch between being able to set the 'boost' settings and seeing two red dots (with no trailer hooked up). When the keys are out of the truck, will the LEDS on the controller ever completely go out?

If not, this device certainly wouldn't have the power to impede the battery would it? This is why on my last SUV, I installed a rocker switch under my dash so I could switch the +12V.

Please help........

Jason

The LEDs go out 15 minutes after the last time the brake is pressed.

Thanks so much......I guess mine is working like it should. I'm the idiot that installed a rocker switch when I didn't need to. Oh well........live and learn.

THanks again
