Popular Mechanics, Chrysler, and the TITAN!!!

any one here get popular mechanics?

If so turn to page 48 of the April 2005 issue. Wow, i didnt even realize this was the april issue. It gets delivered to my office under the name of our old CEO. I just saw it in the mail pile today.

Anyway, there is a piece on the new PT Cruiser, and its redesign for 2006. There is a spy shot with its camo on up front claimed to be taken at their test site near detroit.

The kicker??? In the picture, it looks to me as if there is a titan right next to the PT... smoke, either SE or LE (has chrome on door handles and mirrors) and big tow (has big tow mirrors)

Anyone else come across this????
Chrysler recognizes they have GOOD competition.

No, they probably just need a good truck to tow the POS Cruiser when it breaks-down!

Now now, no need to get nasty. Right now in my garage sits our brand new Titan CC LE with his new buddy my 2001 PT Cruiser. I've had it for 4+ years and nary a problem. It is a great little car, I can take out the front passenger and rear seat and haul almost as much as the Titan bed (which can't take an 8ft ladder in the bed, unless we put down the tailgate, but I can haul an 8ft ladder and alot more in the PT just by folding down 2 seats!) It is very easy to park in those smaller lots and also has a built in table in the back for tailgating, what else could you ask for? It's a fun car and overall, while I'm not a Chrysler fan by any means, it's been a pleasure to own and fun to drive. It may now have the most powerful engine out there, but it is afterall a "Cruiser".
Love my PT,

I think they parked the two side by side to compare brake dust problems!
