I'm a Newbie!

Hey guys, I just recently bought my 2005 SE Galaxy Black 4x4 crew cab. So far I love it, alot better drivability than my fathers 2002 Silverado 1500HD crew cab. I was thinking the transition from a BMW M3 to a Titan would be hard, but the Titan has great road manners you could say. So far its stock, but within the next few days I will be ordering some parts for it. I'll be ordering a Magnaflow and a K&N within the next few days. Hopefully down the road I'll be a big boy and get the CST lift . But I was wondering, is there a pulley kit available for these? Thanks.... hopefully I'll be able to learn some valuable information on the forum......

Nick

Welcome aboard!

Welcome to the community.

There's a lot of helpful stuff on the site and the techies that roam around give great advice.

Right now, there's talk about headers as an investment after you get your CAI and exhaust set up. Might want to check that out!

Of course, everyone's waiting for someone to purchase a Stillen supercharger and let us know how it runs...

Can't help you on the pulley. I'd be leery of doing it given detonation issues and more than likely voiding a warranty.

Mmmmm, supercharger . I may have to do that sometime. My brother owns a speedshop in Houston and I'm sure he would offer me cheap labor . Oh, and that brings me to a question. I'm deciphering between the Magnaflow and Banks exhaust system. Both of them the single outlet type. I can get a new Magnaflow through my brother for 350 or I could get a Banks for about 510. Can somebody post pictures of these two exhaust systems? I really like the Banks, but for 160 dollars less I may go for the Magnaflow. What are your guys' opinions on this? I know just about all exhausts out there have the same increase in power, I'm going for the looks and sound in this place... and whichever one has the better window decal ....
