Titan Tows Awesome

Just towed my WW FS2300 1600 miles from Houston to New Jersey. Loaded to the gills, 7600 lbs at the scales (right at the trailer GVWR). 13,500 GCVW. Towed between 65 and 70 mph the whole way including up the steepest hills on I-59, 81 and 78. 8 mpg. Truck never broke a sweat. 4th gear except up hills, then in 3rd. I did break the diff in correctly and then changed to synthetic 75W-140 oil. Only other prep was an oil change to Mobil 1 5W-40, as the old oil was up to 6500 miles.

Loved the look on people faces as I was passing them going up the big hills doing 70...

Fantastic report. Yeah, these trucks can do it! 8 mpg is not bad at all for running at those speeds with that load.

Ah, the Titan towing reports, love to read 'em! Just hitched up and brought my Jayco home yesterday, taking her out this coming weekend for the first tow of the season. Good to hear she did well, todd92!

Okay...but that is a little bit freaky.

Do they hand out a link to TT at the dealers when you buy a new titan?

That is awesome! It would be cool enough to run into another Titan owner at a campground but to find he is a member on the boards too is the best!

It was very cool. What was even more cool was our titans were both smoke CC's and we were side by side in the campground. Todd glad to hear your trip went well.
