Question What will be new for 2006?

I'm back to this group lurking for any news about 2006s. I have looked and driven every truck out there and now back to the Titan. I see some of you are mentioning 15 more horsepower and a new blue color for 2006. Can we leave this thread open to capture any gossip or fact about the 2006s? Those with good relationships with your saleman, what do they know?
Has anyone heard when they will start to build them?

I doubt there will be anything firm known about 2006 until later in the summer/early fall. Anything that has been mentioned is probably only rumors. Salesmen aren't gonna know that much and I've actually found that we know more than the dealerships know about the vehicles they service.

There are leaks though so keep your ears open. I saw the spec sheets for the 2006 F-150s and the Lariet will get 20 inch wheels as an option.

Yeah there are leaks, but most Japanese makers are ALOT tighter on what new models will have compared to Ford, who probably makes them available by trying to get more people interested earlier. Maybe it's a good marketing tool, but to me it's just trying to save their A$$. Who knows.

XXX_Titan said he knows someone at nissan tech and that there will be a power folding mirror option. And all big changes will occur in 2007.

My best guess would be...

-Power Folding Mirrors
-Dual Auto Climate Controls
-Heated seats in the Bench LE
-DVD option available for front Bench
-Different Premium Audio system
-More color options
-A wild card may be some kind of NISMO or Sport package

The changes between '04 and '05 were very small (leaving out the increased quality of manufacturing) and I would expect to see the same thing in '06. Some new colors, changing how some of the options are packaged, maybe a new collection of options like a NISMO version, not much more. I sure don't see changes to the sheet metal or the frame, too early.

Because I would love a truck in yellow, the same yellow they use on the Xtera and the fact that I must get an '05 because I can't wait for '06, I suspect '06 will introduce yellow........

I disagree, my Ford dealer gladly shares information about the next model year. He even printed the spec sheet for me for the F-150 and mailed it to me. For those looking for yellow in an F-150, the F-150 gets an "Amarillo" version (as in Texas) for 2006 and it comes in yellow. I just read that the Dodge Ram gets a major redo to the suspension, frame, front grill, new interior and will have a mutiple displacement system where 8 cylinders will reduce to 4 to save gas when 8 is not needed.
