Should I spend the extra on an LE?

OK, I am having lots of trouble deciding between an SE and an LE now. Is it worth the few extra grand? Also, I've been contemplating getting a King Cab, but if I get the King Cab, it would be an LE...However, the non-power rear sliding window is deterring me from the King Cab.

What are yalls opinions on the SE vs. the LE and the King Cab vs. the Crew Cab.

Thanks.

As for SE vs. LE, I just bought my SE 2 weeks ago so you can see that personally I didn't think that the LE was worth the extra money. You are basically paying another $4450 for different wheels (and I like the SE wheels better,) leather interior, power driver's and passenger seats (my SE has the power driver's seat,) heated seats, and utilitrack and bedliner as standard equipment. You do the math.

KC vs. CC -- I didn't even consider the KC. I have two kids and the CC was a must for me. The back seat on the CC has a LOT more room than the KC and for me it's much more functional. If you forsee using the back seat more than just occassionally, I would definitely go with the CC.

I have a CC and an LE...

I enjoy this truck more than my Lexus LS400...

to me, the LE has everything I would want on a vehicle, the sliding rear window is great, team that with the sunroof and the big driver's and passenger windows and you often times don't need A/C...

I personally enjoy the R/F on my LE, especially when listening to the movies my sons watch on the DVD, somehow, the richness of the sound coming across the R/F during the movies music, dialog and sound effects is entertainment enough.

I love the Nav system, and my kids love the DVD...

you only go around once in life, maybe LE stands for...Live with Everything...

CC LE here too....

There are some pretty cool features on the LE... I use the power rear window constantly. I didn't get the Navigation or the DVD. My kid watches too much TV as is and I like to have the time in the car to talk to him, also Nissan wants too much for it. You could go aftermarket for about 1/2. It is a bit spendy for the LE but I am happy with mine. Definatley go with the CC. I can't imagine many times where just one foot of bed size will do much for you. On the other hand the seats folding up or down in the CC makes the truck really versitile. With both back seats folded up the space in back is absolutely HUGE.

I couldn't see the need for me personally for the LE other than the leather and I found a great place to add it if I wanted anyway , if money wasn't an issue yes a decked out LE would be great, for the money not in my mind, but as far as the crew and king cab there is no choice , everyone I know that has one is glad they got the crew and everyone I have turned on to buying a titan wants or has gotten a crew, I think the ability to haul people and grow if you have a family is key. I am also 6-3 and all my family is tall so the back of the king cab wasn't big enough , not to mention the wonderful power back window. I don't miss the foot of bed space at all.

I couldn't see speding the cash. I went with a SE CC and love it. The rear windows go down completely and the rear window is nice too.

I didn't like the feel of the leather in the LE. I had better quality in my Accord and didn't see the benefits of having it in the truck (it was cold in the winter, warm in the summer, wife complained about her legs sticking to it and my back would get hot on long hauls)

Another vote for LE CC here. I would say if you got the cash, and the extra wouldn't strap you, go for it all. If you are a person who only keeps vehicles until the warrenty is up, go for the SE. No sense in going for the extra if you are not going to keep it that long. As far as the CC or KC goes, which do you use more the bed space or the interior space? For me, the larger items I put in the back fit in the CC and the back seat will get more use when we start the family. Also when the back seats are up, I have more room to put medium size things in the back that need protection from the elements. If you had to choose between LE or CC, I would go for the SE crew cab before the LE king cab. Just my 2 cents.

I like the leather. all the other niceties are good too. If you can afford it I say go for it.

You just gotta see if you need or want those extras, if you do I think it's worth the extra $$, if you feel you don't need it save the money for mods. One thing you don't want to do is buy a car/truck than afterward wish you should have gotton the other one. Goodluck.

One thing to consider is whether you can find an SE that is equipped the way you want it in the color you want - I couldn't, so I ended up with an LE. The Utili-Trak bed seems especially rare on SEs around here.

The choice between CC & KC is all about your needs, if I had more family then my son, then the CC might be my choice. I needed the KC so I could get 2 bikes in the bed with tailgate almost all the way up...

Another LE Crewcab here. Some of the options I was looking for were only available on the 04 LE and I figure it'll probably be the last full size truck I buy and I usually keep my cars for a long time so I figured I'd just go for it. The crewcab was a no brainer having 2 kids still in child seats. Yeah the foot long bed would have been nice but it wasn't worth the trade off for myself.

By the time I finished adding the options I wanted to the SE it was less than a $1,000 to upgrade to the LE and wow . . . lots more goodies than I ever needed or wanted . . .

IMHO, well worth the price.
