BadMo finally gets his wings...

...uhh...wheels...

Well...after 4 years of "truck dreaming" and wavering between all the manufacturers, I finally got my Titan!

Been visiting this board since it's origination and have chimed in here and there...great to officially be an owner now!

Picked up my Red Brawn Titan over Father's Day from new-nissans.com...did a factory order, since the combo for my truck was nearly impossible to find...Chuck from new-nissans was great to work with and even went out of his way to pick us up from the ferry the day we took delivery(27 miles from the dealership)!! When we picked it up, it only had 7 miles on it.

Even though I've test driven many, it's great to finally get behind the wheel and experience the Titan as an owner...great handling, power, and lots of room. I respect all the audiophile's who dog the RF, but being almost 40 years old...it's fine for my needs. The day we bought it, my 5 year old sat out in the truck in our driveway for about 20 minutes...I guess he wanted to just take it all in...

Our must have's were, CC, Red Brawn, Front Bench, Step Rails, and Curtain Airbags, so going with the LE was the best choice for us since we would have to add leather eventually(2 kids)...and the aftermarket leather gets more difficult with side airbags. Also glad we didn't get(couldn't get) the BT because the smaller mirrors are better than I thought...look better IMO, won't be doing any heavy towing, and we have single garage doors, which are pretty tight.

As far as improvements...I would like to see separate climate controls, push button retracting mirrors and better seats. The seats themselves are OK but the range of adjustment for the rake is pretty weak, and the leather could be of better quality. Also, if you sit on the edge of the seat they still move on their own at times...but I'm 240lbs, which may be part of the problem.

Here's a few pics of the truck looking thru my backyard with the cascade mtn range in the background.

See you on I-5

nice looking truck, congratulations!!
I didn't know they sold the split bench front seat with leather... what does the top of your center console/armrest look like? Is it cheap-o vinyl or is it topped with leather. Mine is vinyl and is pretty boring, I've wondered if there is another one that I could replace it with.
Thanks.

Vegas04...hard to say if it's leather or vinyl!!...I'll have to give it a closer inspection and let you know. The leather package seems to be some kind of combo of leather/leatherette which isn't that high of quality(my previous car was an Acura) but like I said above...with the side airbags in the seats, I didn't want to mess around with aftermarket, so it was the lesser of two evils.

I'm hoping the PRG lift will compensate for the lack of seat rake range too...this is the only thing I'm having trouble getting used too...my Legend would recline back so far it felt like you were in the back seat...
