loud clunk in front end...

under Moderate to heavy acceleration, im getting a major clunk and vibration...when i say vibration, i mean that i can feel it im my feet...each clunk matched with the feeling in the foot...almost like a CV joint issue... i had the dealership inspect it when it was up there last...visually checks out fine... i have the PRG...any ideas please?
should i look at the CV shafts? im very concerned with this.
Thanks in advance

I'm not sure if this will help. but check your lug nuts on your wheels. A while back on my cavalier, the lugs weren't tightened 100% tight enough and under acceleration (and I think braking too) it vibrated and clunked like it was gonna fall apart. I thought the car was dying! This may not be anything close to what your issue is, but it might help.

Check the bolts to the transmission that are directly above the cross member that would stop them from falling out. There were a couple people on here that had what sounds like a similar problem.

Also, check th ebolts from the sway bar to the endlinks. If they are loose at all they create a major racket.

That's what happened to me, loose transmission bolts.

okay, now that you say that...thinking about it...it does sound like a tranny problem... just the rear drive portion of the tranny or both... when i put it into 4wd...the sound and feeling in my feet is worse...
