P265/70R18 Tires

Look at the attached from 1010tires.com
Looks like there may be a Canadian only version of Michelins available in 265 70 18 that Michelin's website says it doesn't make. Also there is a Pirelli. Anyone see these before?

Pirelli Scorpion

I had some of the Pirelli Scorpions on my 1998 Chevrolet Silverado. They were really quiet, and had good wet traction, but the snow traction wasn't stellar. Pirelli makes some really good road tires, I don't consider them much for off-road, but I rarely get into any areas where I need much more than occassional mud. I am hoping Bridgestone Duelers or Yokohama Geolanders come available in the next year for the 18's. Both of those are excellent tires for my needs.

Any word on manufacturers making of different type 18" tires? I don't particularly care for Continental and Goodyears p.o.s.'s

I fired off an email late last year, and Michelin is "supposed" to release a LTX M/S for us by the end of the year. I for one can't stand these goodyears. less then 20K miles and over half the tread has worn off. And no, I am not spending any quality time smoking them down. I drive a little over 100 miles to and from work, and they just don't hold up.

That's good to hear, dosen't the Dodge have 18" tire on there 2wd's also? If so some good tires should be out soon. I also know what you mean about Goodyears, I haven't figured out how they make there tires so out of round, I guess allot of R&D and technology is how they do it.

The 1st 2 numbers on tire sizes are in metric (mm), the last is in imperial (inches)

I can't imagine tires being designated a different size in one country than another besides those P-Metrics and those older bias ply tires.

Michelin Cross Terrains

I'm having my Goodyears replaced today with Michelin Cross Terrains 265/70r/18 Price $ 193.00 out the door. My Goodyears lasted only 25,000 miles . The Michelins have a 65,000 mile warranty.

Why do you say Michelin doesn't make those. It sure does. From their website.

If you do a tire search by size, it doesn't show any tires being available. Either when you select the truck or when you select the size. Maybe their website is out of date and needs to be kept up a little better. I guess they have bigger things to worry about **coughs** "F1" **/cough**

Got the Cross Terrain's 265/70/18

I had them installed two weeks ago. I just completed a 1,900 mile road trip. I love 'em. Much better ride. Worth the $.

Michelin 265/ 70R18

I had the 2004 Titan LE with the Good Year tires that lasted 25000 Km ( 15,500 Mi ), I went in last week to replace them as winter is coming fast. I bought a new 2006 Titan instead with the condition that they replace the tires, I wanted Michelin, the Michelin site said none in that size but my dealer got me the tires, so the bottom line is they do have Michelin 265/70R18.
My wife has a 2004 Maxima with 18 inch Good Year tires and they were completely wore out in 40000 Km ( 24000 Mi ), also replaced them with Michelin. No more Good Year tires for me.
