be careful with putting xtender all the way forward in bed...

when I first got the truck I put the extender all the way forward in the bed like the brochure on the Titan showed, which is nearest to the cab, figuring that it would be out of the way...

if you do so, don't go all the way to the head of the bed...the movement and vibration would cause the paint to rub off on the extender when it contacts the spray on bedliner stuff...grrr

I fixed that problem pretty easily. Mine has been sitting on the floor of my garage since I bought the truck. I'm too afraid it's going to get stolen out of the truck!

I'll put it back in when I get my hard-top tonneau cover by Retrax.

My extender is beat to he!!, paint chipped here and there...

Is that covered by warranty? Ha, C'mon its a truck, that kinda of stuff is going to happen eventually. I usually keep the tailgate locked to keep the extender from getting stolen. Yes, I'm aware you can move it up and pull her up, but how many morons that want to steal one do?

No doubt about that. Mine looks like crap. I need to check to see if it is aluminum. If it is I may strip & polish it like I did my steprails and skid plate.
