Exclamation Fixed AC hose, not sure if done right, PLZ HELP!

Evening everybody. I need help. I found the dreaded ac hose dripping water back into the cab the other nite and fixed it with a hose and hose clamp. Took me forever to get it right. Now here's where I'm confused. Before I fixed it I never saw water underneath my truck from the drain hose thingy. When I found I had the bad drainage problem I yanked the factory one off and saw a huge puddle on the ground a few hours later. So I fixed the hose that night and the what worries me is that I have yet to see any more water drain out from the new hose. I checked inside the cab tonite after using the ac all day and no water inside, but no water under the truck either. So did I do this right? Is there suppose to be water draining everytime you use the ac? And if so, where's the water going?

fdiesel has a good point. Take it to the dealer, but living in San Ramon the humidity is low and you may not see much condensation on the ground at any given time.

good news. Damn hot today so I had the A/C on most of the day. Got home and ran in the houuse to go wee wee. Came back outside and saw a good sized puddle underneath the truck. Felt underneath the carpet for moisture and zip, zilch, nada. I chose to do it myself simply because I just love tinkering with it.

I know what you mean. I always feel better if I do the maintenance. At least if something gets messed up you know who to blame.

Sure it was from the AC? You did say you have to wee wee.
